Privacy Policy
The data-handling rules below are approved by the business owner. Last updated 26 September 2026.
Who this policy is from
This site is operated by Humble Services, Inc., a Wyoming corporation, doing business as Humble Services Business Consulting. Postal address: 30 N Gould St., Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801. Services are available to owners across the United States. This policy covers this website, the inquiry form and the Business Independence Scorecard. It does not cover any other company.
What this site collects, and why
- What you type into the inquiry form. Your name and email address are needed to reply. Your role, industry, the issue you describe, your state, the size of your team and anything else on the form are optional, and are used only to prepare for the conversation you asked for. On this review draft the form performs its checks in your browser and sends nothing at all.
- Your consent tick. The form does not accept a request unless you tick the box asking Humble Services to contact you, so that a record exists of your having asked.
- Your Scorecard answers. The Scorecard is a self-check. Your answers and your result are saved in your own browser on the device you are using, so you can leave and come back. They are not transmitted to Humble Services and no copy is held on a server. Clearing your browser storage for this site erases them, and they are not readable from any other device.
- Ordinary hosting records. The company that hosts this site keeps standard server logs, which normally include the internet address your request came from, the page requested and the time. These are the host’s routine operating records, not a visitor profile kept by Humble Services.
- Typefaces served by a third party. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to fetch them and Google receives your internet address in doing so.
- Analytics and cookies. This site uses analytics and cookies to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
Who else sees an inquiry
Your details are kept private and are seen only by Humble Services. They are never shared with, or sold to, third parties.
What you share is used to advise you and, if you tick the box, to send you owner letters. Information may still be disclosed where the law requires it, for example in response to a lawful request from a government body or a court, and to Humble Services’ own professional advisers where that is necessary to run the business.
How long it is kept
Owner details are kept for two years after consulting services end, in case more work is requested. After two years, they are deleted.
Scorecard answers are not on this list, because they never leave your own browser. You can delete them yourself at any time by clearing site data for this site in your browser settings.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
You may ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or withdraw the permission you gave for contact. Use the contact page to make the request, and say which of those four things you want. A request is acted on within a reasonable time, and anything not needed to meet a legal obligation is deleted. Asking costs nothing.
Where you have agreed to receive owner letters by email, every one of them carries a way to stop receiving them, and stopping does not affect any other part of the work.
Some states give their residents extra privacy rights. Nothing in this policy takes away a right the law of your state gives you.
Conversations and recording
Conversations are not recorded or transcribed without saying so first and asking every participant to agree, on the call itself. Recording law differs from state to state and consent from one participant alone is not assumed to be enough anywhere.
Please do not send financial statements, tax returns, payroll records or other sensitive documents through the web form or by ordinary email. If documents are needed, a way to share them safely will be arranged first.
Security, children, and changes
Reasonable measures are taken to protect information, but no website or email can be promised to be perfectly secure, and nothing here should be read as a warranty that it is. This site is meant for business owners and is not directed at children under 13; information about a child is not knowingly collected. If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact page or to the postal address above.
