Ridgepoint Comfort Systems is invented. It is a made-up heating and plumbing contractor with 14 people, built from public industry figures, so you can see the work without anyone's private numbers. It is not a client and not a real company.
How to read it
- The map shows where each dollar comes from and where it goes: people, materials, overhead, the owner, loans, taxes and what is left. Tap or click any box to see what sits behind it.
- Two snapshots sit at the top: the business when the work began, and twelve months later. Switch between them to see what changed.
- What if… lets you try a change, such as a price rise or one more hire, and see the arithmetic before you make it. It is arithmetic, not a forecast.
- What we found sorts every finding into Fix Now, Improve Next and Build Toward, each tied to the part of the map it concerns.
A full Review also includes the scorecard across the six areas and a 90-day action plan, which this sample leaves out.
