Build a better business. Prepare for what comes next.
Helping business owners improve what they own, protect what they have built, and prepare for what comes next.
We help small-business owners strengthen financial performance, improve operations, make difficult decisions, reduce owner dependence, and prepare their companies for the next chapter, whether that means a healthier business, a leadership transition, or an eventual sale.
A business can make money and still be difficult to own.
Many established businesses are profitable but demanding. Decisions still run through the owner. Systems live in one person's head. A key customer or employee carries more weight than anyone would like. And the next chapter, whether stepping back, handing over to family or a manager, or selling, feels hard to plan for.
If your business is at a crossroads, you do not need a louder growth plan. You need a clear look at the whole company.
What happens to your business without you?
The Vantage Point Review is our assessment of the whole business, done at one of two depths: a Business Health Assessment or a Comprehensive Business Diagnostic.

Four lenses on the whole business
We look at the numbers, the systems, the people, the owner, the risks and the future, together.
In a full assessment these four lenses expand into six assessment areas.
Financial Health
How the business actually makes money: revenue quality, margins, pricing, labor costs, cash flow and reporting.
Operational Health
Staffing, responsibilities, workflow, systems, documentation and bottlenecks. Could it run for 90 days without you?
Owner & Organizational Health
Your role, workload, delegation, priorities and what you want the business to become. Advisory work, not therapy.
Transferability & Exit Readiness
Whether someone other than you could own and run the company well, and what has to change first.

Featured services
Every paid service sits in one of three groups.
Assess
Find out where the business stands before deciding what to change.
Improve
Focused work on a defined problem, such as pricing, labor, staffing, delegation or systems.
Advise
Ongoing support with the decisions, people and priorities that come with owning a business. Business advisory, not therapy.
Client stories
Client stories are never invented, and are shared only with the client's written permission.
None yet. Once there are client stories, they will be shared with the client's first name and business name.
Until then, you can see the work itself: a sample Vantage Point Review of an invented heating and plumbing business, clearly marked as a sample.
Sensitive information
Owners share sensitive things about their companies, families and plans. Those conversations are treated as confidential. Detailed financial records will not be requested until a secure client workspace exists, and the work is meant to sit alongside your CPA, attorney and financial advisor, not replace them.
The client platform we are building
We are building a client platform where owners can book a first conversation, sign a proposal and see their own account. It is still being tested and is not on this website yet.
Start with a conversation
A free Business Transition Conversation is a chance to talk through where the business stands and whether working together makes sense. It is a fit conversation, not free consulting.
